Over time, our teeth start to discolour. This can be caused by things such as food, coffee, tobacco and ageing.
If you are having orthodontic treatment and would like your teeth whitening, we advise you to do this once your braces or aligners have been removed.
The teeth whitening treatment only works on the surfaces it comes into contact with. Therefore, if your teeth are crowded or overlapping, there will be some areas of the teeth that do not whiten. The best time to whiten your teeth is once your braces have been removed at the end of orthodontic treatment.
